Downtown Hilo is a rare gem and one of the few traditional downtowns left in Hawaii. I like the fact that it is small in scale, supports local entrepreneurs, has covered walkways, and is surrounded by natural beauty. It is a place with many stories and where you can meet lots of special people.

Yes, I frequent the farmer's market, restaurants, shops, Kress Theater, and special events held in Downtown.
