Murals – The next wall in time
How about a mural on the National Dollar Store / Kress Building wall on Kalakaua Avenue… the wall is paneled concrete, and the surface is smooth. Each panel could be a totally different design… but, if desired, there could also be an overall theme… EDH 2025 Primary Focus Area: Enchancing Education, Culture, and the Arts

This also increases local/civic pride by making dull buildings shine; downtown would be more appealing to locals and visitors alike.
In new Zealand there is a town that has over 30 murals that everyone visits. The art had to be approved, then a map and brochure about each mural is available and tourists walk around to see them all.
